"Tibits restaurants are our all time favorite all over Switzerland. It was our first night in Basel and we came here walking (thanks to google) for dinner. Though there was outdoor seating but due to cold weather everyone was indoor. We started with white wine and whiskey with Nachos. I don't know why they don't serve scotch whiskey ? The buffet spread of veg and vegan dishes was great. There were many Indian dishes. The concept of paying as per weight is good. The food was delicious. The staff was very helpful. The washroom was upstairs. While coming down, one of the staff found me struggling. He took me behind kitchen and brought me down by service elevator. Thanks a lot. The ambiance was great, totally family oriented. Don't miss it when in Switzerland..."

"The best lunch I’ve had in Europe! Lots of natural light, spacious seating, elegant and modern cafe atmosphere with restaurant-level food choices, friendly services and affordable price(by weight). Highly recommended to anyone seeking for a place to study, work, have a gathering, or date!"

"I eat here occasionally, and the food quality is excellent. You pay by weight, which tends to work out to about CHF 20 for a small-medium portion, which is on par with other eateries. What I dislike is the payment system - you need to pay at a counter with service staff, and the queueing is disorganized and quickly fills the place. A better payment organization is really needed."

"Wonderful and relaxing, with excellent food. You grab a plate from the right hand side. Load it up with whatever you want. You are charged by the 100grams. Works out about 16-20 euro a plate if say per adult. Present your plate and they weigh it"
